Hello again fellow travelers. It has been a long time! We want to welcome you to A World of Belonging, the new site for our travel adventures. You may have met us through www.fortyfields.com, where we were originally publishing updates about our sabbatical in 2016-2017. That domain now hosts my professional website, where I post about ethics in health care and technology. I have moved all our travel content here, to A World of Belonging. You can find all our old travel posts here, and I’ll be updating occasionally with new adventures.

Like many others, we had plans for more travel even after our sabbatical, but alas a global pandemic kept us at home. We are very grateful to all the scientists, health care professionals, and mask makers out there. You are getting us through this thing in spite of ourselves. We hope for some peace and some meaningful policy changes around the world in the aftermath of this devastating public health crisis.

In the meantime, please be safe out there. Get vaccinated, wash your hands, and wear a mask when you’re in crowded spaces. We’ll see you on the road soon.
